It is also the location of one of the Aetherium Shards during the quest Lost to the Ages . You will soon arrive at a small cave with some Chaurus Hunters and fledglings. How to get Zephyr Bow. Exit through a narrow tunnel to the east and arrive at an area with some trees. Wait for Katria, who mentions that this is the spot she fell from. Notice a narrow tree log to the west. There is a bow on it.

The Daedra quests are definitely interesting in their own right, but their’s just something about Lost to the Ages that got me feeling real excited. Also i agree with you there, the Forgotten Vale felt amazing to explore.
Lost to the Ages On several of the bookshelves in Fort Dawnguard you will find a book called "The Aetherium Wars" that, when you read it flags the quest LOST TO THE AGES. While this quest is part of the Dawnguard expansion (it was added by it of course) it is not actually part of the Dawnguard story line!
